On an earlier post on healthcare, the following line was posted, “The Popes and Patriarchs ought stick to matters of faith and leave economic and healthcare decisions to experts in the field.” This is a classic line that is used whenever the Church’s teachings hit close to home. In fact, exactly the same line has […]
Mother is healing
Well, I keep saying that I am going to blog soon, but I have been in Miami. My mother is in ICU but healing well. So, maybe tomorrow, and if not by Monday, I will get back to blogging. Thanks to those of you who have been praying.
Posting delayed
My 84 year old mother had bowel surgery yesterday, about three hours away from where I live, so I was out all day with her. I finally arrived at home after midnight today. She is now in Intensive Care recuperating, but, they expect her to be home next week. I will probably not post today. […]

Mamma Mia! And memories

Here is the bottom line of what I have been saying. In almost all scholarly fields, when questions of knowledge come up that are hard to solve, they are referred to a group that represents the community. The larger the “truth” that is being debated, the larger and more representative is the group to which the argument is […]
