I am an anime fan. I also like the child-like art used in many of the manga magazines. Thus, it was particularly enjoyable for me to find the manga-like icon of Mother Mary and Our Lord Jesus. The angels at the side look like traditional manga characters. The expressions are classical anime expressions.
While I was looking for that author of that icon, I ran across an anime version of the Crucifixion. Warning: you probably do not want to show it to young children as it is realistic as to what happened. But, again, I was impressed that there are people who are trying to communicate eternal truths in today’s art.
This is not the type of icon that his hung in a church. But, it is an art piece that is definitely appreciated. The anime is not one that you would wish to show in a child’s Sunday School class, but both would certainly be appropriate for high school and adult Sunday School and discussion groups. They give you a different way to look at our Christian heritage.

Thank you, I tried. My entire monitor filled with this image, over and over. I scrolled down and it was the same image, over and over. I could not tell who the author was. LOL.
