I watched the Olympics just about every night while they were on. I was amazed at the talent, the sportsmanship (except for the Korean and Chinese badminton teams), and the drive to win. I expected that from watching previous Olympics. What I did not expect was the zany British sense of humour (yes, the non-American spelling is on purpose) that was on full display, particularly in the closing ceremonies. However, I must admit that my favorite bit of British zaniness is the above. God Save the Queen!

Funny part – Archbishop of Canterbury grinning behind the queen.

I heard about the queen parachuting in. Wondered what that was all about.
Padre, have you seen this spoof of William & Kate’s wedding? It’s a take-off on an earlier video of a wedding with the bridesmaids, groomsmen, bride & groom and all dancing down the aisle. ‘Cept this one had a bigger budget. Don’t know how they got the Archbishop of Canterbury to go along with it, though.
